In a Russian school at Beslan on September 3 2004 over 330 people, half of them children, lost their lives in a brutal and barbaric manner. Yet another example of the extreme hatred that can exists between mankind. It is thought that the act was carried out due to the situation in Chechnya but whatever the cause can such acts ever be justified?
